Kinnara and CEO Adrian Campbell Face Allegations of Fraud and Embezzlement in Marina Bay City Buyout Dispute

Kinnara and its CEO Adrian Campbell are now facing serious allegations of fraud and embezzlement following what Lux Property Group states was an undisputed buyout of the Marina Bay City Lombok project in October–November 2025.

According to Lux, the buyout was formally agreed, documented, and publicly confirmed through media releases issued on November 4 and November 5, 2025, stating that Lux had acquired 100% control of Marina Bay City.

Lux says evidence has been published showing Adrian Campbell reviewing, approving, and even critiquing the wording of those media releases, while acknowledging that full control had passed to Lux.

Acceptance of Buyout Funds

Lux states it is not disputed that Kinnara received the first AUD $2 million of the buyout funds.

Lux asserts that denying a buyout while keeping millions of dollars paid for that buyout constitutes fraudulent embezzlement of funds belonging to Marina Bay Investments.

Pattern of Prior Conduct

Lux argues these allegations are intensified by Adrian Campbell’s documented regulatory and criminal history, which it says demonstrates a pattern of conduct.

Public records and mainstream media reporting show that:

• Queensland Fair Trading previously prosecuted Campbell in two separate fraud-related matters, resulting in substantial fines

• A front-page article in The Border Mail reported Campbell was charged by police for:

  • Cheque forgery

  • Altering cheques

  • Theft of Telstra copper cables

  • Travelling to Bali while on bail

Lux argues this history is relevant because it reflects a pattern of:

Receiving money under one representation, then denying that representation while retaining the funds.

Lux claims investors were misled into believing they were dealing with the official Marina Bay City development, while funds were allegedly diverted into an unauthorised competing structure.

• MarinaBay.city is the only official website of the Marina Bay City project

• Other websites and social platforms using the Marina Bay name are allegedly:

  • Impersonating the project

  • Diverting investor funds
